Allowing multiple people to cooperate on 1 deal
SOLVE
Hi,
In one of the business units of my company (=team), there are multiple sales people (2-4) who cooperate on the same deal. I have some questions about how to optimize their access rights.
1. I understand that one deal can only have 1 sales owner (cannot be assigned to a team).
2. If a particular user doesn't have access to edit deals they do not own, can they still:
post a note on the deal
track email thread on this deal (using Outlook extension)
log a meeting on this deal
or this is only possible with "edit" rights? I wanted to restrict these as much as possible, to minimize any human errors.
1. You can use a custom property using "HubSpot User" type as a secondary owner. These users would have the permissions as the primary owner.
2. I believe they would need access to communicate with the contacts and companies associated with the deal to be able to track an email using the outlook extension or log meetings.
They can leave notes on a deal as long as they can view the deal.
