Allowing a User to See Their Owned Contacts + a Specific List

Hello community,

I want one of our Hubspot users to see the contacts he owns + contacts in a specific list. Also, he should be able to see everything these contacts are associated with (at least the tickets and deals).

I tried the following:

- Making all contacts come from that source owned by him: 

That solved the view issue, but what I want is to make someone his contact only if this contact is added to our CRM by him. So, we lose this possibility in this case. So this does not work.

I saw this thread. I think this might be a solution but I am just wondering if there is a better one than having to create a new user.

Unfortunately, we are not on an enterprise plan. So, I'll probably use the team ownership for this, as you mentioned.

There is a new feature for this but it's limited to Enterprise portals: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/share-records

Without an Enterprise subscriptions, you would unfortunately have to leverage record ownership or team membership to accomplish this.

If you want to track who added a contact to the CRM, you could also simply create an additional owner field. This can be created like any other HubSpot property, with the property type 'HubSpot user'. Once you assign all contacts to this user within this new owner property, they'll have access to those records. That way your default contact ownership field remains untouched.
