Adding % via calculation

Can someone help. All i want to do is take a closed won amount from the sales deal and then add the same value plus a % increase, automatically to the next year's renewal amount.

Here is my calculation if i wanted to add 8% to the amount 

and the workflow is currently as follows - it creates the amount but doesn't add on the % increase annoyingly.

All help/feedback is greatly received.

@NMiller4  It appears that your calculated property is incorrect. 

The equation you're looking for is Amount x 0.8 = X, X + Initial Amount, if that's correct then that needs to be two equations.

And then how does the flow work what goes into what etc?

I've tried many permutations to no avail
