Adding form details & contacts from Joomla website

SOLVE

Hi,

Been trying to integrate Hubspot for a client on their Joomla website. They need the usual do with forms - add a contact and store form details with that contact.

We have tried adding just the code as well as a Hubspot plugin for Joomla but it's just not working.

They use Breezing Forms on their website.

Please help - where do I go from here? Would be amazing if they don't have to add everything manually.

Thanks.

Hi Connor,

Great 🙂

I've mapped the values on Wordpress, but Joomla is another dance 😞

The web dev added this plugin: https://nicheextensions.com/extensions/hubspot-integration-for-joomla/ You only add your Hub ID, so I assume it just injects the code that already doesn't work. (tried normal code already)

The above also doesn't allow for mapping. Not sure why anyone chooses to work with Joomla.

Will just stick to manual then.

Thanks for trying Connor!

Pardon my ignorance of Joomla but is there a reason they don't just use HubSpot forms on thier Joomla site? They should be able to style them however they want and then you're not dealing with two systems for data collection.

Hi Connor ( I assume it's Connor 🙂

Thanks so much for responding!

The form is multi-step - you can see it here: https://www.bmi-steel.co.za/quote-request

Would that be possible with a Hubspot form as well? And what would implementing that take on Joomla as I know the Wordpress plugin makes it relatively easy?

Yep it's me 😁.

The only solution I've found is using a custom form module which is a bit to techincal for me but it can be done. (I can tweak Hubl but not write it)

I've tried to use the HubSpot forms to redirect to another HubSpot form that uses smart content but HubSpot doesn't recognize the submission quick enough to trigger the smart content.

Assuming they have the code in the header as you said the only other thing I could think of is you need to map the internal values so they match.  Here's the documentation on using non-HubSpot Forms, not sure if you've seen it already.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
