Adding a level to the deals table

In our deals table we have eight stages; the first three are linked to different stages of prospects and the second three linked to different stages of pipeline. What we want to see is the total value of the first three columns, then the total value of the second three columns (if we wish). Is there a way to do this?

This is not possible within the deals tool but if you have the reporting add on you should be able to build a report showing the value of deals in each of the groups of stages, for example by appling deal stage filters like this:

I recommend using the summary repot type if you just wanted to see a total value.
