I know you can add an additional email to a contact by pulling up their record, clicking the pencial and selecting add additional email. Curious if there is a way to get the same result through a workflow.
We really need this in workflows. We are otherwise plagued with duplicate issues when using the Salesforce integration. Whenever a salesforce contact's email address is changed, that seems to create a new Hubspot contact, at least on a re-sync. If we could set and control secondary emails through a workflow, that would help in general with a lot of duplicate issues.
We have this same issue. We are a school where students receive multiple emails. They might have a student email, a personal email, a work email, etc. Currently, I have 11000 or so contacts that I need to change the primary email on the contact. This done manually would take forever. Need a way to do this quickly. I have exhausted a lot of means and made a few phone calls to Hubspot. Doesn't look possible at the moment.
I believe the best way to do this will be by an import. I was checking, and the idea was already submitted here.

Use case is we create email address for users and start sending information to that email after a set point. We are currently using Person Accounts in Salesforce and when swapping their emails over to the created one in Salesforce. Salesforce is overriding their email instead of moving it to an addtional email (Believe this is just an issue with person accounts as we did not have this issue when using regular accounts and contacts in salesforce with hubspot.) Since the email address is getting over written, if the client interacts or submits a form with their personal email instead of the created one we get duplicates for them.
+1 for @Mike_Eastwood's thoguth here. I don't know of sany way to do it other than manually. I was thinking a custom coded workflow and API might, but I've never built one nor seen one.
