Activity from contact not syncing to associated deal

Hello Community!

 

I'm not sure what might be wrong.

 

I have a contact associated with a deal. and have sent them e-mails logging and tracking with the HubSpot extension.

The contact pulls all the activity perfectly, all the e-mails, etc.

 

The deal is not pulling any of that activity and shows no activity at all.
Is there any way to manually (and automatically) push all the contact activity into the deal?

@FTE if the deal create date is still older than the activity, that would explain it, yes!

Hi @FTE,

 

You can always manually clean up associations: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/associate-activities-with-records#associate-an-existing-activi...

 

Theoretically, this should be working automatically.

 


If a call, one-to-one email, meeting, note, task, postal mail, LinkedIn, SMS, or WhatsApp message is first logged on a contact record, it will be automatically associated with the contact’s primary company and the five most recent associated open deals (i.e., deals that are not in closed-won or closed-lost deal stages).

Is the deal one of the most recent five open ones?

 

When sending the email through the extension, you can always review which records it should log to:

Danke Karsten!
About manual association, great! i was unaware of that feature!

And indeed, theoretically, it should be associating atutomatically, but it's not.

Deal is open, not closed.

It may have to be becuase the deal was created after the contact already had that activity...

Will keep investigating.
