Accidently moved ALL deals to "closed lost" Help!

SOLVE

My intent was to filter "open" deals before December 1, 2021, then would moved to "closed - lost". Unfortunately I forgot to ad deal status to the filter, so I actually moved ALL deals to "closed - lost" .... How can I reverse this???

Accidently moved ALL deals to "closed lost" Help!

SOLVE

Hi @RHoldenZNA,

Have you read through the whole tutorial? You're not filtering by deal owners here. You're exporting the Deal stage history of all deals, then narrowing down the export file to those deals affected, then re-importing the correct values.

You need to export the Deal stage property history.

Best regards!

Hi @RHoldenZNA,

HubSpot doesn't have an "Undo" button, unfortunately, but you can access the previous value for Deal stage, export it, and re-import it as the new latest value.

There is a great step-by-step tutorial here: Reverting Bulk Property Changes by Importing Historical Property Values

Let me know if you get stuck at any stage of the tutorial.

OK, I've run into a problem. I should have clarified that I am the Super Aministrator for the account. But the deals that were changed were for another User, not my own. When I follow instructions to go Settings>Properties it only allows me to choose my own accounts. ??

Hi @RHoldenZNA,

Could you specify which step you're referring to? (They're numbered.)

As a super admin, you should be able to see everything. Under Settings > Properties, you should see the Deal stage property, make sure to select the deal object in the dropdown above.

Here. Hopefully this helps. When I select Users, it is only my name.

Hi @RHoldenZNA,

In the search field, you should enter "Deal stage", make sure that the filter to the left of it is set to "Deal properties", not "Contact properties". The users filter should stay "All users".

The search should then return your "Deal stage" property.
