Accidentally GDRP deleted contact who wants to receive our newsletters... what can I do?
I feel like a big dummy.
I was adding a new contact and didn't mark them as a marketing contact. I then went to delete them and readd as a marketing contact, but I deleted them using the GDRP delete. This customer really wants to engage with our content, but now I have no means of re-adding them to our system.
Is there any kind of work around to get this individual added as a contact in our system? If I send them a link to our opt-in page, will that bypass the actions that I took on accident?
You can try with the opt-in option as you said, but according to this article here, adding back GDPR deleted contacts is possible only if they choose to fill up a form on your website
