When a portal is ungated for this functionality, we'll begin challenging any users on that portal that log in with SSO for a login confirmation. If the user has 2FA, we'll do so with their existing 2FA configuration. If they don't, we'll fall back to sending them a code in their email to verify their session. In both cases, we will provide the user a way to be "remembered", so that they can choose to only be challenged occasionally on their current device. From then on, they can log in with SSO as normal.
SSO bezieht sich hier auf "single sign-on", also einfache Absicherung.
