RSS Email Featured Image "Explode"-> Latest Outlook Update doesn't support max-width anymore

Hi all,

Unfortunatelly the latest Outlook update doesn't support max-width anymore so my featured image in the email explodes because it is now displayed in original size. Anything I tried to keep the featured image small didn't work.

It would be great if I had only the featured image url so I can build the img-tag by my own with my inline styles. I found this article and this seems to be not possible.

Any ideas? Right now I can choose between sending out my rss email without images at all or with monster huge images that bust my mail.
