Use multiple instances of a module on a page

I have created a custom cards module that allows you to specify the width of each card (e.g. 50% for 2 per row). 

When I add more than 1 instance of the module on a page, the width of the cards for the 2nd instance is being overriden by the value in the 1st instance.  The width on the first instance is set to 50% and then 33% on the second instance.

Are you using flex for the card layout? Do you have a link to an example so I can take a closer look?

Thank you for your quick response. I solved the problem. There was an issue with the Javascript for the module.
