We would like to change the unsubscribe template design. We couldnt find any option to remove the unsubscribe from all events option from the template. Individual selection option is fine, but we need to get rid of the unsubscribe from all checkbox option
for something like this, you could add a Subscription Type like "Marketing", put it in first place(ordering in the Subscription type view) and create a workflow like "if Marketing is unchecked - unsubscribe from Subscription Type A, B, C"
while I can think of ways how to hide/remove the "unsubscribe from all" option, I won't make them public since I highly advise against to do so because:
removing this option leads to a worse user experience(user will have to manually deselect all subscriptions)
may be seen as some ways of "forcing users to stay subscribed"
it can be seen as disabling core functionality of HubSpot
can lead to legal actions(especially if your company/customer is located in a country that is subject to the GDPR/DSGVO)
Therefore - it's totally fine to style the preference page and form, but this option shouldn't be removed
Actually we need to remove the unsub from all options and instead we can show unsub from each of our group like marketting, events etc like that. Is there any way to change that. On the last step i can change the labels only, i couldnt loop all the three unsub options.
Hi, While we can proceed with updating the text for “Unsubscribe” to reflect only specific section names instead of all, we’re unsure if this change is also reflected in the backend. For example, when someone selects the “Unsubscribe from marketing emails” option, it should only unsubscribe them from marketing emails in the backend as well. Could you please guide us on how to proceed with this?
