Two HubSpot accounts, one brand domain?

SOLVE

Hello everyone,

I was going through HubSpot community posts and read a lot about removing connected domains from old/deleted HubSpot accounts because it seems like we can't add the very same domain on a new account.

This makes me wonder - does anyone know by any chance if can we have two different HubSpot accounts but the exact same brand domain (based on i.e. our-domain.com) on both accounts? We have Marketing Hub Enterprise on both accounts.

Let me know please.

Thanks,
Igor

Hi @IgorP,

You should be able to have the same brand domain on multiple accounts, however, keep in mind that if you choose to set this brand domain as any of the primary domains for your tools, you would need to utilize different subdomains. When setting up in DNS you wouldn't be able to point the www.YOURWEBSITE.com  to multiple locations.  However, you could have hub1.YOURWEBSITE.com and hub2.YOURWEBSITE.com pointed at different locations and each of these could be set up in different HubSpot accounts.

Hi Josh,

Thank you that was helpful and good to know!

Yes, we would be using different subdomains for different things (websites, landing pages), so that would definitely work.
