Tracking LinkedIn Sponsored Content

Hi.

So, I have raised this question before and I'm raising this again so as to find the EXACT SOLUTION to my problem.

I have a page. Here's the link.

https://www.centilytics.com/resources/ebooks/azure-vs-aws.html

Now, this page has a HubSpot form. I have made and automated it in such a way, that if all the conditions of the form are met, then an EBook (link) gets mailed to the email submitted.

Now, we are running a campaign on Linkedin to promote this Ebook.

I also have a code generated (script) that I have to use (I don't know where).

Now, what I want to track is, let's say there are a total of 100 users that came to this page.

50 of these came from Linkedin, and 20 came from the campaign that I ran on LinkedIn and the remaining 30 came from other sources.

Now, let's say that a total of 70 users those who came on this page via LinkedIn (normal + campaign), a total of 40 people downloaded my Ebook.

Now in the analytics, it shows that 70 came from LinkedIn and 40 downloaded my Ebook.

NOW, OF THE PEOPLE WHO CAME FROM LINKEDIN AND DOWNLOADED MY EBOOK, HOW MANY OF THESE DOWNLOADS WERE BECAUSE OF MY CAMPAIGN THAT I RAN ON LINKEDIN

Tracking LinkedIn Sponsored Content

Hi @asingh,

I'm sure I can help you figure this out. My first question though is: what's the script that you have to use? Is that something that Linkedin gave you for the campaign? Does it help track visitors to your page?

Beyond that, have you seen our knowledge articles about using the Sources report? We have an article here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/articles/kcs_article/reports/use-the-sources-report#what-s-included-in.... Visitors who submit that form that came from your paid Linkedin campaign should have that information tracked in their contact records. They'll have an Original Source value of Paid social. Then there are 2 additional properties: Original source drill-down 1 and Original source drill-down 2. Original source drill-down 1 should show Linkedin. And Original source drill-down 2 will be the name of the campaign. You can find a bit more info about this here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/articles/kcs_article/reports/what-do-the-properties-original-source-da.... I imagine you'd be able to create a list of contacts who have that campaign information and who also submitted that form.

Would that work for you do you think? Let me know if you have other questions here.
