Stylesheet Loading Slowly

Our website is having an issue with the CSS stylesheet loading too slowly. The page first loads without any formatting for the first few seconds. After the first few seconds, the stylesheet does load, but it does make the website look strange to have those few seconds without any formatting. Is there a way to reduce this delay?

So, wow! Those images are huge. I totally see where the CSS isn't loading right away. 

A quick pagespeed test shows that the images are really slowing down the page. I would address these first, then check the speed of the page again: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hughesandco.ca%2F

Great, thank you! I'll update those images and see how that helps.

Sounds good. If the images are added via the HubSpot image tool thing, then they're automatically adjusted size-wise, but because those ones weren't (background images via CSS) then the full thing is pulled in.
