Removing search icon from landing pages header

Hello,

I'm using the Groovy theme on my landing pages, and it comes with a built-in Search icon/bar in the header. I'm trying to remove that as we don't have that functionality sorted out.

I tried to find the code for it to remove it, but can't seem to locate it anywhere. I also tried unchecking the 'Include search button' checkbox in the global content editor, but that also hasn't worked.

Here is a link to the theme from the marketplace: https://app.hubspot.com/ecosystem/9295838/marketplace/website/groovy-free-theme-by-media-source

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mo

Removing search icon from landing pages header

Hi @MHajsaleh

just downloaded the theme and checked it.

It uses the default HubSpot search module which is located in the @hubspot folder which can be found in the design-tools.

Unfortunately you can't modify default modules.

BUT: you can edit the template/partial.

To do so locate your theme and edit the header.html partial. Unless you have created a child-theme or duplicated it, it's located here:

If you delete the following lines of code you will drop the search functionality from the header

@Anton are you able to edit the template/partial directly for this theme from the marketplace without using the "clone to child" option?

I get this message when accessing any files for a marketplace theme:
