Removing History

Is there any way to remove the history?

Like when I change the status of someone lets say frrom active to inactive it still shows it was active before.

There is a way around this. It's not neat but it works. 

Contact properties have a maximum of 45 revisions stores and company and deal properties have a maximum of 20 revisions. 

This means that if you want to "delete" history, you can make the requisite number of edits to the property and older edits will disappear. This probably only works for text fields, but it does mean that if someone adds something to a property that shouldn't be there (like a credit card number for example), then you can brute force it into non-existence. 

A delete history function would be nice though.

No. You cannot delete history in HubSpot.

Even deleting a property only hides the data from view. Recreating a property with the same internal name will restore the data. Dunno how long before deleted data is purged, so ...
