I'm getting this message whenever I try and delete my domain

GCarter97_0-1695998326828.png

I can't add a new one, I can't delete my old one.

I can't delete my brand domain either, what can I do here?

Problem deleting your domain

SOLVE

@GCarter97  from the page editor, if you click on the settings, there should be an option to edit the domain to swap it to the included hs-sites domain as shown here:

Once you change it to the hs-sites domain, the page wouldn't be using your connected domain and you should be good to remove it.

Problem deleting your domain

SOLVE

@GCarter97 ah, I see - it must be a limitation of the free plan.

I checked my free account and when there isn't a brand domain connected, it creates one for you to use temporarily, but I couldn't find a way to save website content and still be able to delete the domain.

Domains can be a little tricky depending on the configuration, would you want to jump on a call this week to look at the options together? It'd be a little quicker than going back and forth with ideas to troubleshoot.

For some reason it just let me remove it without me doing anything after a while - not sure what fixed it

@GCarter97 that's good - maybe there were just too many requests to the server and it was triggering an error. Glad you could get it removed!

Hi @GCarter97  do you have any published content associated with your domain?
