Portal Clean up question

Hi,

I have to clean up some templates and modules in different portals. 

Is there gonna be a problem if I rename or move the templates/modules which are currently in use inside a portal?

Like

current Template name: The-template-name

new name(should be): Date-of-template-creation_template-name_additional-info

and/or

current folder: custom modules

new folder: custom modules/somethingsomething/

Has somebody expirience with renaming/moving templates and modules?

I've renamed and moved templates around to different folders before on my portal and haven't had any issues but you can always test with just one to be on the safe side 🙂

I don't believe this should cause any issues, however I want to tag in some additional subject matter experts for a second opinion. 

@anthonypizzurro can you confirm that renaming templates/modules won't cause issues? 

@Stephanie-OG do you have any experience with renaming templates?
