One search to rule them all

SOLVE

Hi, this is my first post here.

We have a blog on HubSpot on a subdomain, and I am adding other subdomains for other content. (Our main website is elsewhere but we're moving as much as we can to HS.)

So far I have a search and search results on the blog. My question is, how can I have one combined search and results page, that covers all our HS hosted subdomains?

@SimonPadbury putting all your domains onto HubSpot would make this much easier. Once they are all on, I would also recommend consolidating them all onto a single subdomain for SEO reasons.

Also, I notice that the inquirer at https://community.hubspot.com/t5/APIs-Integrations/How-can-I-combine-primary-and-sub-domain-search-r... has or had both a primary domain and a subdomain on HubSpot. My situation is (currently) slightly different, in that our primary domain is elsewhere while we hove only subdomains on HS (e.g. info.reprocell.com / blog.reprocell.com).

Maybe -- we need to get the primary domain onto HS before we can get this to work?

Hi Stefen,

Thanks for this. Yes that's what we're planning. Our primary domain is on an ecommerce platform but I've been moving all our non-ecommerce webpages and blog on to HubSpot. Our plan is to move the primary domain on to HubSpot and leave the site on a `store.` subdomain.

I will mark your answer as a solution, as I think it probably will be 🙂

Hey  Dennis,

Sorry but I still can't figure out what I need to do.

By the way, that post of https://community.hubspot.com/t5/APIs-Integrations/How-can-I-combine-primary-and-sub-domain-search-r... says the JS to modify is around line 57 but in the `requestUrl` is on line 73 -- the template has changed a bit since that solution.
