My custom module is not appearing in the "Add Module" drop down on the page editor.

SOLVE

I am just trying to clone an image slider so I can repurpose it on another template. When I clone an existing module it is not showing up in the add module list so I can drag and drop the cloned module into a template. ANother issue I have is renaming the module. I always get an error:

There was an error renaming "interior_image_slider copy" to "interior_image_sliderhome".

Hi @rix

It looks like there are four errors with the module. You can see these in the bottom left hand side of the module in Desigm Manager.

Once you address those errors, you will be able to change the name.

Hi @rix

Thank you for posting in the Community!

It sounds like you aren't seeing your custom module when trying to add it in the drag-and-drop editor.

In Design Manager:

1. Open the module.

2. In the top right, be sure the toggle is turned on to make available in templates and pages.

3. On the right, below the module title, check to be sure the module is available in they type of content you want to use it in.

Regarding the error your are seeing when you try to change the module name, can you try changing it in an incognito window? If that doesn't work, can you send me a message with your HubID, so I can take a look?

Thanks,

Right I have the make available to templates and pages checked. In incognito I am still receiving:

There was an error renaming "image_slider_2018 copy" to "amarok_image_slider_2018".
