Moving blog from sub-domain to sub folder

Hi,

I am planning to move our blog from blog.abc.com to abc.ai/blog.

The main website is also hosted on Hubspot and abc.ai is connected to hubspot. I tried doing this and faced some issues. Here are the steps I took, in settings>website>domain & urls I updated the primary domain for blog to www.abc.ai and 2nd tried adding a slog in blog settings.

The issue I faced was that the homepage of the website got replaced by the blog listing page and I couldn't add /blog slug in blog settings so I moved back things to the same old state.

Has anyone tried something similar and can guide which step I am missing here.
