Searched on this with no luck... I bought a theme, and I created a copy so I could make a few tweaks here and there.
The theme maker has since updated the theme.
I would like to update the modules I've used with the new versions. I've already checked and updated all other files (css etc.).
Will I have to replace each module on every page in the page editor, and re-enter all module config info? Or is there some way to swap out the module IDs with the new ones?

With the introduction of marketplace themes, we are aware that we have introduced a hard choice to our users, clone and customize your theme or use as is to ensure you continue to receive updates from the provider. We are actively working on a solution which will eliminate that choice. While these tools are not available today would you be open to participating in an early beta when they are?
