Mass import into custom module

SOLVE

I have created a custom image galley module as a proof of concept for a client. As with most general module functionality, the images and its related information would get added one at a time. Not an ideal scenario for initially populating the image gallery.

Obviously, the images can be added to Files in bulk but is there any type of option where I could import the module information for each image in bulk as well? I am fairly new to Hubspot so I wasn't sure if there was an option using Hubl or something similar. I wanted to explore my options before giving the client a definitive answer.

Thanks,

Terry McMillan

Hey @tmcmillan99

I'm pretty sure importing module data is possible, but I could be wrong.

Have you looked into using HubDB? This would enable you to import and manage lots of data extremely easily. You may still need to attribute the image from your file manager to the data but thats one object vs many.

Hope this helps!

@tmcmillan99 I think you'll really like it over managing from within the content editor.

Here is a tutorial from HS that lays it out rather well.

Thanks for the tutorial link. Just based on a brief look, I think using HubDB would be the option I was looking for and could handle my scecario quite well. Just not sure yet if the client has HubDB but will check on that. Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Terry
