Anytime someone tries to learn a new CMS, there is a learning curve. I wanted to start a thread here to crowdsource community ideas, tips, advice for folks trying to learn the HubSpot CMS.
The scenario
Imagine you’re a good CMS developer who just got hired at a company (or agency) that is already using HubSpot.
The CMO wants to migrate to the HubSpot CMS and your primary task is to learn how to code the new website on HubSpot CMS.
The question
What ideas, resources, tools, pro-tips and advice would you recommend for a new-to-HubSpot developer to learn the HubSpot CMS?
If you head over to Belch and try out the Landing Page builder, just try one of the sample Landing Page templates (you don't have to customize anything) and hit the "Publish to HubSpot" button. The compiler will convert all of the relevant html to HUBL and push it right into your portal. It will create a template and landing page as well. If you view the generated landing page, click on the HubSpot icon in the top right (because this landing page and template are now in your portal) and then choose to edit the template file. The code is super clean and you can steal some code ideas from there and kinda see a full working example of a HUBL page.
These are coded files but you can take the same logic and implement it into a series of custom modules.
