We're currently using the Neambo - ACT3 theme. Ever since we moved to our new website, we've noticed a big drop in traffic. We think one reason for this might be an error we found in the search console. The error says: "LCP issue: longer than 2.5s (mobile)." The Treemap indicates that the video JS on our homepage is causing this problem. Are others facing the same issue?
@ASobaci video will always impact your LCP, even moreso if it's hosted on YouTube.
This is less of a theme issue and more of a content issue - you have to decide what you want to optimize for, performance or user experience. If the video is critical, you have to accept the loss of performance.
It sounds like performance is the priority since you've identified loss in traffic. In this case, you could replace the video on mobile only with an image to help improve mobile performance while keeping the video on desktop.
If my reply answered your question please mark it as a solution to make it easier for others to find.
