HubSpot Hackathon Submit Theme To Marketplace

Hello, hi

I've searched and searched. I'm trying to submit my theme to the marketplace. I cannot find anything related to that anywhere. I've found guidelines for theme requirements etc but nothing with direct link i.e. ( submit theme here ).

1. By November 23, submit your completed Theme listing to HubSpot's Asset Marketplace via the Asset Marketplace Prover Account you created.

My submission isn't totally completed but. I recieved a lot of notices telling me to submit early. This was the earliest I could today I've got some resemblence to a completed theme. I was in the last live zoom about the hackathon but I can't seem to find the link to submit the theme.

We already addressed this in slack, but wanted to also put the info out here so it is public.

There were two issues that needed to be addressed. 

1.  the paths to the assets were not properly formatted.  example:

path="/hackathon_theme/src/modules/bkg-img-choice-1

should be formatted like this:

path="../hackathon_theme/src/modules/bkg-img-choice-1

2.  The modules lacked icons.  This is a subtle difference between regular modules and modules that go into the marketplace.  You can add the icon for the module is the module's meta.json file.  Here is an example.

Theme validation errors: I click the link there to the templates and ... no errors? I'm glad I tried to submit now and didnt stay up all night improving the theme, from the looks of it... I can't submit it.

There is a chance that you are building in the wrong type of portal. 

Here is a video (starting at about 8min15sec) that will show you the way.
