How to make my email responsive?

I'm creating a newsletter from a basic template that HubSpot created when we onboarded.

I am trying to make the email responsive. In my Outlook preview it formats properly, sizing itself to display all the content in the email within the preview window. But when I open the email it's not responsive, the content goes off the right side of the window. I have to open the email to full size to see all the content or scroll. The content does not reshape to the size of the window.  Someone else received it in Apple Mail and it's not responsive in either the preview or the actual email when opened.

I went to the Design Manager / Actions / it appears that the template is already set up as "responsive."

Suggestions? Most appreciated.

If you a creating the newsletter then first it should look good and send it every day a week so that your email would look more responsive

Thanks for the response but when I say "responsive" I mean the content of the newsletter resizes to fit the size of the email window.
