How to get the code of custom connected app

SOLVE

We have one Connected app in our cms that was developed by external developer, I would like to know how can I download the source code in my local and make the changes to the app package. So far I had fetched all the cms files using "hs fetch cms-project" command. However, couldn't find a way to download or fetch the custom app code.

Can someone please guide or suggest a path to achieve this request?

Thanks,

Kirti

How to get the code of custom connected app

@kvaland ,

Are you talking about an integration?

If so, that code lies outside of the HubSpot portal.

There will be two things you will need to  look into,

1.  The developer account.  This would be where the authorization to connect to your portal would take place as well as if you are using a custom crm card or webhooks.

2.  The server where the app is hosted.  Think of the developer account as the middle man between your portal and the integration.  The actual app with the code is hosted on a server somewhere.  You will need to get the credentials to that server.  If the developer is hosting it and you want to move it to your own space so you have complete control, you will need to reinstall the integration on your portal so that it is directed to the new location and will also be reauthorized.

Hi Dennis,

Really appreciate your feedback. You got it right, I'm looking for an integration app that the third-party developer has created for our portal.

I will follow the instructions that you have provided and request the access.

Thanks,

Kirti
