I am trying to clone & customise default "Products" module in marketing emails. Can anyone tell me where I can clone this module?

How to clone and customise products module in marketing emails

SOLVE

Hey @JamesKw

just checked - the email products module seems to be one of the very few modules that are not available in the design-manager. Most liekly because of how the data is getting handled.

So the only real option is to create your own custom email module with similar functionalities. My recommendation: Create only one simle module with image, name, pricing... what ever information you need, and let HubSpot handle the columns if you want to display several products side-by-side.

Reason for this is: While you can create several columns in modules, you will have a very hard time optimizing it for all the email clients and displays as email modules don't support CSS and most clients will drop a majority of inline-styles. The only real option to have full control over the email is with HTML templates - but this will open a whole new source of work... Not recommended if you want to create an easy to handle email. 🙂

Hey, @JamesKw 👋 You can edit and clone the module in the email editor by clicking on the “pencil” icon. You can also search for modules in the Design Manager. – Jaycee

How to clone and customise products module in marketing emails

SOLVE

Hi Jaycee,

Unfortunately the pencil icon in the email editor just brought me to edit contents or styles of the instance, not to the module editor screen.

Also, I couldn't find that module in the Design Manager. The only file I could find was '@hubspot/growth/sections/products.html', but it was not the module I wanted to clone.
