GraphQL Using Query Params

I am attempting to use GraphQL to get some Contact information via a query string property. Nothing is being returned. I have followed the docs on the guide page and it never returns me anything on my test contact whose id is passed via a query param. I have followed the directions given on: https://app.hubspot.com/contacts/126868/contact/280514226 with no good results. Am I not allowed to access a contact record in this manner? What I am doing wrong?
