Google indexing site with noindex tag

SOLVE

I have had a noindex tag on my page - https://www.bigpictureloans.com/exclusive-offer since 2/9/18.  I submitted the sitemap on 2/19/18.

I used the following code and placed in Head HTML section under the Additional snippet code section  <META NAME="robots" CONTENT="noindex, nofollow">

The search engines have still indexed the page.

Any thoughts?

You can try adding that page to your robots.txt file in content settings > web pages > page templates tab. There should be a robots.txt file section where you can add it.

User-agent: *
Disallow: /your-page-url$

The $ at the end of the url is like a stop token. It basically makes sure you are disallowing just that page and not "/your-page-url-too" as well.
