Global content editor missing sections and modules

SOLVE

Hello, I'm trying to create a custom footer as global content, but when adding new modules and sections I can't see them in Global content editor where I'd like to be able to edit its content.

I think my code is correct (no warnings) and very similar to the default one. So where is the problem? Can you point to something I should do differently? Thank you

@martinjinda two things you can check:

1 - wrap your code with the footer class:

add <footer class="footer"> at the beginning on line 5 before you set the container, and </footer> at the very end.

2 - publish your code and re-add your module to the page before opening the global content editor.

@Jnix284 Thanks, it still doesn't show my default modules from the footer file so I removed those default modules from the theme footer file and add them in the global content editor and it works as I need.

Thank you for your help and @Jaycee_Lewis
