Embedded chatbot input box is covered by keyboard in iOS browser

We are using external embedded html chatbot generated by the tracking code. Our text input box is at the bottome of the page.
If we click on the edge of the text input box, the input box is elevated when the virsual keyboard appears, which is expected. However, if we click on the center of the input box, the input box will stay at the bottom of the page and it is covered by the virtual keyboard.
I am using iOS 16.1.2, and this behaviour happens in both safari and chrome.
