DnD Module (dnd_module) - Reference Field Depth

Hello Hubspot comrades.

I am having an issue with my dnd_module markup and in trying to reference a variable of a custom module. How do you reference custom module variables which are three levels 'deep'?

Say for example I have the following structure in my custom module:

'Styling (group) > Background (group) > Background Type (choice)'. How then would I reference that in dnd_module markup?
