Custom template build

解決

We are trying to build a new website to replace our current website.

We've created a new folder in the designer manager and built templates, modules, and global modules.

But, when we are trying to test it, the old CSS is overlapping the new website design.

What care should be taken to avoid this?

(The CSS overlapping over a new template is the header global module and footer global module).

Thanks,

Hi @navya

If you could check out this article (https://knowledge.hubspot.com/articles/kcs_article/cos-general/create-edit-and-attach-css-files-to-s...), HubSpot has 3 places to attach CSS file.

You can attach at the following place.

  • Template
  • Domain
  • Page

So what it could be is that you have attach a CSS file on domain level.

Another possibility is that inline styling is enabled on your module level. If you could check out this article (https://knowledge.hubspot.com/articles/kcs_article/cos-general/use-the-inspector-to-style-your-templ...), you can put inline styling directly to the module.
