Custom Properties - There's no need!

Heya - we've done an awesome job of documenting processes and as such have no need of the ability for 'random users' to create random fields, this would mean stepping outside well-researched and gathered requirements (and maybe a touch of d!ck-ism).

Can we lockdown (i.e. stop) the ability for certain user types, or all but superusers, being able to create random properties randomly for random reasons?

Yes, you can turn off the edit property settings role within contacts access in the permission settings. More on this here: HubSpot User Permissions Guide

Does this apply to import actions?    I believe users can create ad hoc contact properties to map data columns to, even if 'Edit Property Settings' is disabled on their user profile.  Is there a way of disabling this capabilty?
