When you create the form, open the "options" tab.

You can either enter the pdf url after the thank you message, so they click to download...

or you can redirect to the pdf url by selected "external link" at the bottom of the Redirect to Another Page"

If you don't want the thank you, then you would follow the second suggestion of linking directly to the pdf url.

I'm not talking about the cta tab, I'm talking about the form. When you create the form you have the option of what happens when they hit the enter/submit button. You can either create a thank you or redirect to a url. Put in the url of the pdf and it will automatically download that.

Hey @lesafir

I think what @JanetArmstrong is suggesting is that you select "external link", and paste the URL of your PDF into that field.

See the image below when creating a FORM: This will bypass the thank you and go right to the download. The external link will be the pdf url.Screen Shot 2020-04-07 at 7.42.52 AM.png

Hi @lesafir

We have a custom module on the Marketplace that might help you out! Our Ultimate Popup Wizard lets you put a HubSpot a Form, PDF, YouTube video, image or iframe of another webpage into a beautiful popup. It is triggered by a custom button that you can style and place anywhere on any HubSpot CMS template or page - no coding required!

In your specific case, you could put the PDF in the popup and they could read and download it immediately. You could also hide the button behind a form and place it on a thank you page too if you wanted.

Check it out here: http://beginbound.hs-sites.com/ultimate-popup-wizard-begin-bound-hubspot-custom-module

Just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone thought it might be useful.

Happy HubSpotting!
