Change background color of a module

SOLVE

I want to change the background color of a single module in my email template, but in the basic editor I've only found ways to highlight the text or change text color. From what I found in the knowledge base, it looks like you have to go into the html code in order to change it. Is there an easier, less technical way?

Well I'm not sure. But the technical way isn't too hard. If you click on the module gear and chose "Edit CSS Declarations" and just in the CSS Inline Styling box type "background-color: white;" without the quotes. Of course change white to whatever color you want. But that should get you where you need to be.
