Hey HubSpot Community,
I was wondering if it's possible to somehow change/localize the auto-generated blog slugs for tags and authors.
As far as I'm aware, the usual template is as follows
domain.com/{blog}/author/{author}
domain.com/{blog}/tag/{tag}
But say my company is operating exclusively in Spanish, German or Italian. It's something that regularly comes up in discussions with clients and SEO experts. I don't think the impact is that huge TBH, but I wanted to clarify if this is really not possible.
Is this something you may know @Jnix284 ?
Cheers,
Chriso

Hi @Chriso-mwx , not that I'm aware of.
Even in our theme where we have provided the ability to fully translate all of the elements, the URL slug for author and tag is not translated on sites using multi-language.
@mzweng any insight on localizing/translating the blog author and tag slugs directly in the URL?

Hi @Jnix284 / @Chriso-mwx ,
Unfortunately, I am not aware of a solution to translate that part of the URL.

You're welcome @Chriso-mwx , I would be curious to know what SEO experts think of the non-translated slug.
Would GSC see this as a new URL/page if the author and tag slugs were translated, or still identify it as a variation of the same page?
