Can you set the search to ignore menu items?

Hi,

In my site, there is a main menu that has links to most of the pages. It appears in the header on every page of the website.

This causes the following issue: if I have a menu item labeled as "music" (for example), if I search music, it will return every page in the site, because they all have music as a list item in the header.

Is there a way to set the search to ignore certain portions of pages, such as the header?
