Can the Content / CMS Hub be used in a Composable Headless Decoupled Commerce Architecture?

Hubspot provides a lot of API's which come accros as being able to work within a Compsable Headless Decoupled Architecture.

During a POC event that lasted 3 months we were not successful in meeting our goals.

So the questions are:

1. Can Content/CMS hub support this?

2. If so, can some direction be given as to what would be the correct API's to be used.

We were using https://api.hubapi.com/cms/v3/pages/${pageId}.

We created a simple template that had an area for a banner on the top, one on the bottom and in the middle we used a place holder like <div>your info goes here</div>

We created a React App running on AWS that is to fetch the page from HS and then fetch dynamic data from our ecommerce plateform and then render the page by injecting the ecommerce data.

But no joy.

Looking for any insight into this or just kill this POC and make use of a Headless solution that is truely designed for the plan architecture.

@craftsmannerd - I have no direct experience here to offer, but it seems like you ure trying to reinvent a lot of the dyamic page composition that HubSpot CMS brings to the party. Is CMS servicing any part of your online presence?

Anyhow, best of luck!

Hi, @craftsmannerd 👋 Thanks for the question. It seems like you're hitting up on the limitations of what HubSpot can do in this context. If you haven't posted this over in the Developer Slack, you might consider that as a secondary plan of attack.

I'd also like to invite some of our community members to the conversation who may have experience with or thoughts on what you are trying to accomplish, hey @Anton @Teun @Mike_Eastwood @SteveHTM have you ever tried anything similar in your work with clients?

Thank you! — Jaycee
