Is it really true that you can't attach overwrites of existing CSS classes in the knowledge base website? Coming from Zendesk and must say that HubSpot feels very limited.
But as mentioned, I am looking for a method to overwrite existing CSS so that I can make it look a bit nicer and better support my own brand. All hacks appreciated
Hi @Emborg it's not currently possible to customize the HubSpot Knowledge Base via CSS, the good news is that this is already underway in private beta and there are a lot of changes coming soon.
For now, I'd focus on configuring your KB to optimize the content and structure. I don't have a release date for the planned improvements and am not currently in the private beta anymore (I was at my previous company) so I don't have the Product Manager's info to pass on.
What I'd recommend is searching the Ideas Discussion for the ideas already posted about customizing the KB and add your feedback to them directly, especially those marked In Planning. This will be the best way to share your feedback with the Product Managers directly and they may reach out about the beta so you can join - if you see an update from one of them on an idea, you can also try tagging them in your feedback to ask about it.

Getting back to you on this. So, if you are hoping to add HTML/CSS to the header or footer of an entire knowledge base, that is available with our newest knowledge base tools.
We have a migration tool out that you can use to shift over! 🚀
There is however no plans at the moment to completely open up development tools.
I hope this helps!
Have a lovely day!

to be honest, the current Knowledge Base is still an underwhelming experience.
It got a few updates in the last couple of months, but I'm still recommending to create a new Blog, create a few custom templates and modules to recreate the "look&feel" of a Knowledge base and gain a ton more flexibility.
As of today, the only option to click on "Configure" and set a few things in there.
Also, you can can go into the settings and add some CSS for customization, but that's about it what you can currently do with the knowledge base.
Very unfortunate, considering the fact that it's basically just a second blog....
p.s. If you should decide to go the blog way and need help with custom templates - I'll be happy to help

Do you know what is the latest plan for the Knowledge Base, especially now that the KB agent is in beta? The thread that was marked In Planning for this some years ago has since been locked so I cannot reply there.

Hello, can you please share more details on how to customize the CSS of the knowledge base? Really frustrated by the lack of functionality and customization available, even just the ability to center my search bar contents...
