Blog language switcher isn't working perfectly

I've developed a language switcher using this blog (https://blog.hubspot.com/customers/removing-language-barrier-multi-language-module-hubspot-blogs) and it worked well for blog listing page. 

But on many of the post pages, it's not showing up:

Not showing: https://www.richardvanhooijdonk.com/blog/en/voice-tech-promises-to-make-life-easier-for-patients-and...

Anybody experienced a similar issue with a blog language switcher?

On the post that's not showing the language switcher, does it have a translated post set up in the switcher module?

On both posts, we don't have the translated post links but in first one it's atleast linking to the listing page of other language blog. In the case of second blog, it's not even showing the language option. 

Another thing I want to mention that the blogs where it is not showing are migrated while the blogs showing the language option are the ones we recently created.

Oh, weird. If you go into the not-showing post, make a small edit, and publish does it show up then? Wondering if there's some kind of bug where the post has to actually be published from Hubspot for the language switcher to work.

I tried updating that but language switcher is only working on the blogs added manually after the domain shifting. The blogs migrated before connecting the domain are not showing up.
