Blog Comments Conflicting with Campaigns

Hey everyone! We've recently launched our new site using custom coded templates. Right now an issue we're running into is with the native blog comments module:

{% blog_comments "blog_comments" %}

Using the above code renders the comments module correctly on blog posts (example here), but ONLY if they aren't associated with a campaign.

Posts that ARE associated with a campaign do not show the form (example here).

Both posts are part of the same blog, and both have comments enabled. The Campaign assignment is the only thing that differentiates the two.

We are stumped. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Blog Comments Conflicting with Campaigns

I noticed the blog post without the comment form rendering is from 2012. In Content Settings > Blog > Comments, there is an option "Close comments after a certain number of days". If that is set to a number other than 0, then comments would have closed after that many number of days.
