Blended RSS feed Email

Looking for a drag and drop email template that would support multiple RSS feeds, (all feeds are blogs hosted on Hubspot.)

I'm trying to create a weekly email for my admin staff that shows the latest blog posts from 3 different blogs. We currently have a blog that is on our website, one that gives info to our current clients and another that was created to share info for our deployed employee group. Our admin group needs to know what is happening on these 3 feeds on a weekly basis, so I am trying to create a single email that would pull in all 3 of these RSS feeds.

I have very little coding experience, so take it easy on this noob. Smiley Wink

Q: Aggregate RSS Feed in HubSpot Email?

Short A: Sure ...

Longer A:

What you're calling a 'blended RSS' feed actually has a name. It's called an Aggregate Feed, and you can easily use a feed aggregator to create one.

-1- Use RSS Mix to build your new RSS 'mix'.

We used the following HubSpot blog RSS feeds in our mix.
- https://blog.hubspot.com/sales/rss.xml
(see image)

-2- Add the RSS Mix aggregate RSS feed to your HubSpot RSS email.

-3- Schedule when you want your email to go out. Done!

-4- Do a happy dance cause you didn't have to custom code multiple feeds into an RSS email from scratch. haha

Note: If you'd like to set it up so they can subscribe themselves to your aggregate feed see, Set up an RSS-to-email blog subscription for an external blog

Hi there, I tried this but HubSpot would not display my aggregated feed. It works in Wordpress but HubSpot just displays my old RSS feed. I did go through support but they said they couldn't help me.

"your new RSS code may not be compatible with HubSpot. That being said, you may be able to use a custom iframe to pull this feed in. This is not something that our Support Team will be able to assist with, so you will need to reach out to an external developer who can make these custom edits."

But it's just using the RSS feed module and using: https://www.rssmix.com/u/8867646/rss.xml as the RSS URL

Anyone spot the issue here?

Hey @sarahillman

Not sure what happened, but our 'RSS mix' RSS email sends stopped working as well. Went in and basically 'refreshed' the screen and ... well ... looks ok now. We reset our test send schedule for Tue AM and will report issues here (if any).

Should be good-to-go now. Please try again.

Hi, I'm not using it as a feed for emails but rather as a feed to display links to posts from two different sources (HubSpot and Wordpress) in our footer. It's displaying only the links to posts from HubSpot created blog posts and not from the other source in the RSS mix. I'm wondering if that is because the HubSpot URL feed ends in .xml and the Wordpress one does not. Any thoughts?

Sorry, completely different use case. You might consider posting your question in its own thread.
