Advanced Menu Root Types

SOLVE

According to the HubSpot documentation, there are 6 values for the root_type parameter:

  • site_root
  • top_parent
  • parent
  • page_id
  • page_name
  • breadcrumb

I understand all but the page_id and page_name values. Can someone please explain how those work? And perhaps and example of what would be rendered?

Thanks!

Hey @tstrack I looked into this further with one of our Customer Support Specialists @mrcruz. It is his understanding that the page_id is the number string in the URL while the page_name is the internal name used on your COS.

Could you share a link to one of the pages you are working on? Let's see how this relates to your work.

Hey @roisinkirby,

I want to use this module with the parameter "root_key". I set the parameter to the page_id which is the number string in the url and the "root_type" to the string "page_id".

However the navigation on the rendered site is empty.

Any idea?

Best,

Thomas

I don't have a specific example at the moment. But that clears it up. Thanks!
