Ability to embed HubFile videos referenced in HubDB on external sites

We use HubDB to maintain a list of pages but we want to embed some of the content on 3rd party websites.

We have written an exporter of the relevant content which gives us access to the ID of the referenced video but if I try to load this video then in a browser I get the following error:

"Video not available
This video can't be viewed externally."

What do I need to do in order to allow viewing this video externally?

Have you double-checked if the Video is Publicly Accessible?

Turns out the issue was that I was using the internal URL, rather than the public URL.

Hi, @lsmith77 👋 Thanks for the interesting question. My guess is this has to do with the sites being 3rd party. If we are using HubSpot hosted pages, we should be able to leverage HubL to get the video to render and play as expected. But the documentation doesn't cover doing this via the HubDB API and third-party pages. It might be worth a support ticket to get clarity if this is even possible.
