Hi @jacker ,

If you have access to it you can create HTML email templates to use in the Design Manager. You can find this by navigating to Marketing > Files & Templates > Design Tools.

  • In the left sidebar of the Design Manager click File > New File
  • Choose HTML & HUBL from the popup that comes up
  • On the next page of the popup choose Email as your template type.

Here's an article about email template markup in Hubspot as there are some HubL variables required to be added to the email template for it to be usuable.

Hi!

If you have Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise, you should be able to create a new HTML Email template:

If you have Marketing Hub Free or Starter, I think you are limited to the "Drag and Drop" editor. When creating a new email, are you seeing the custom template option? If not, you don't have access to custom HTML Email templates in your portal.

Hi,

This works. I've been able to create my own custom HTML and HUBL file.

However, when I want to create an email, I can't find this template anywhere. I've tried moving this template in a number of folders including default and Email/templates but I just cant seem to find any html files in the Custom option.

We're on Marketing Hub Enterprise.

Thanks

Hi Alyssia,

I've followed your instruction but I don't understand how to insert the HTML file and upload it. Could you please explain how to do that correctly so that it doesn't report any errors?

Thank you
